Terms of Use
Last updated: July 5, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Teacher7's website, applications, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. The Service
Teacher7 helps people working and studying turn their own course material into daily lessons and exam-style practice, delivered by email or Telegram. Features may include PDF upload, AI-generated lessons and quizzes, note expansion, podcast previews, progress tracking, and subscription billing.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will meet every educational outcome you expect.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate registration information and verify your email address when required. Notify us promptly at support@teacher7.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans (Starter, Student, and Pro) are billed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) on a recurring monthly basis unless stated otherwise at checkout. Prices shown on our site may include promotional or anchor pricing; the price charged is the amount confirmed at payment.
By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment partners to charge your selected payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Plan limits (such as the number of courses you may add) are enforced according to your active plan. Upgrading or downgrading may take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle, as shown at checkout.
Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support within 14 days.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of course material, notes, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant Teacher7 a limited licence to host, process, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service — including generating lessons, quizzes, audio, and delivery to you via your chosen channel.
You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights (including copyright, exam confidentiality, or institutional policies).
You are responsible for Your Content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe infringe rights or violate these Terms.
6. AI-generated output
Lessons, quizzes, podcasts, and expanded notes are generated by artificial intelligence based on Your Content and your settings. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
Teacher7 is a study aid, not a substitute for official course materials, instructors, professional bodies, or exam boards. We do not guarantee exam results, grades, CGPA, or professional certification outcomes. Always verify critical information against your official syllabus and materials.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload malware, spam, or content you do not have rights to use
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
- Share account access or resell the Service without permission
- Circumvent plan limits, authentication, or security measures
- Use the Service to cheat on live assessments or violate academic integrity rules
We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate accounts without refund where appropriate.
8. Intellectual property
Teacher7's name, logo, software, design, and documentation are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our branding or underlying technology except as needed to use the Service.
Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation to improve the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties such as payment processors, email providers, Telegram, and AI infrastructure. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policies.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEACHER7 AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR EXAM OR ACADEMIC OUTCOMES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR NGN 50,000, WHICHEVER IS GREATER, UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Teacher7 from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Suspension and termination
You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time through the Service or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by nature should survive (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your location requires otherwise.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
